After watching the Half Marathon runners begin their 13.1 mile journey. The 5K runners will line up on the start line before making their way along Sturminster’s roads, tracks and footpaths towards Hinton St Mary. After a lap around Hinton, head back along the beautiful avenue of trees before crossing the finish line at the High School
Entry to the race is only £5
Entries on the day only at the Registration Desk on Sturminster Newton High School Field between 8am and 10am.

5K Race Report
In 2023 the 5K attracted 37 runners, who made their way, mostly along footpaths, from Sturminster to Hinton St Mary and back, returning along the beautiful avenue of trees before crossing the Finish line at the High School.
The winner was Fraser Baird, in a time of 23:01, closely followed by the first lady, Katie Hooper of Great Western Runners in 23:07.
The finishers all received a delicious Honeybun cake. Full results above.
